A Winged Victory for the Sullen. Winged Vortex
Winged Victory uses wings as a symbol for our journey through life towards death. The surrounding objects a comment on the more fixed landmarks of that journey
– growth, decay, death and beyond. The wings in this context stand for upward movement – dynamism and change coupled with a desire to rise beyond our initial state of being.
Wing Vortex is an elemental mandala. It takes the idea of movement further, stripping it back to it’s root – the essence of fluidity, dynamism, revolution. Beating and moving like a feathered turbine churning air currents and thoughts alike.
